In this master thesis Lithuanian electronic communications networks condition by service aspect is examined. Also a chronological analysis of legal documents and foreign experience in the field of cyber security is done. Thesis reviews the \"Internet of Things\" classification, potential threats, and identifies the main guidelines for managing potential threats. It contains recent years Lithuanian electronic communications networks incidents analyses. Investigation towards the responses to security incidents and the effectiveness of security incidents decision duration was conducted. The evaluation of results determines the main current and future network security threats. Thesis ends with conclusions and recommendations.
